Announcement

I plan on having another sale soon so be sure to keep checking back for the dates! I haven't been able to get pictures of that third new product yet but hopefully y'all won't have to wait too much longer. I'd love to hear from you either by email if you'd like to make a purchase or in the comments below, even if it's just to let me know you stopped by. :)

Another new product!

Sorry that it's taken me this long to sit down and post what I had intended to alot earlier. I guess I was mainly waiting for when I could get pictures of it being modeled but that still hasn't happened so for now I will post pictures of just what it is.

It is another flower crown, made up of small pink and white cherry blossoms, all attached to a standard sized headband. One size fits all. ;)

I am also looking for a suggestion for what this product name should be, so please leave your input in the comments below if you have any ideas!

New product item!

Not just a hair flower on a clip...not just a hair flower on a headband..not just two or three hair flowers pieced together...but..a flower crown!

It's a lovely pink!

Here's a few pictures of it being modeled:

This lovely crown is for sale, listed in the  All Products tab!
Any suggestions as to what name should be given to this product? Let me know in the comments below! :)

There are two more new products that I hope to post soon so keep coming back! (: Let me know what you think either by checking the reaction boxes below or leaving a comment!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Soon coming!

Just realized it's been over two weeks since I last posted. =S Well, I am posting again now with some great news! I plan on hosting the giveaway that I've been mentioning the first week of April. I thought about doing it this week, but I figured not everyone who wanted to would be able to participate on account of the Easter holiday. So heads up, I do plan on having that giveaway soon! Please spread the word about it! I'm looking forward to seeing who the winner is! =)
More details as well as the exact dates will be provided in a few days.

Another new hair flower!

We finally have a white hair flower! This daisy is a perfect hair accessory for both casual and dressy attire!

Super cute!

More new items coming soon! Soon as I can get them modeled, that is!

Oh, yeah, and I also added a new tab at the top of the blog under the banner image. The tab being

Recent New Arrivals

so it'll be easier for everyone to see the most recent new items in case they missed the post on it!

See this awesome flower in the All Products tab for details! Let me know what you think about it! (:

(I can see the people viewing it who don't leave a comment... >.> tsk tsk...)

;)

Modeled

Sorry I haven't posted the past two or so weeks. Here is a picture of the Lace hair flower (Queen Ann by name) being modeled!

Especially cute on young girls! (Like my four year old model above.) ;)

Lately I've also been working on some new products..not just hair flowers...something..new.. :D I hope to have them up very soon so do keep checking back, and let me know what you think! I always love to hear from ya'll! Any impute and ideas are appreciated as well so don't be shy in letting me know what you might like to see on here!

ALSO, I know a few months back I mentioned having a giveaway on here..I plan on doing that fairly soon as well once I can get it all set up so be sure to spread the word about it and keep watching my blog for the contest announcement!

Sunset

And we have...a NEW PRODUCT!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=barWV7RWkq0

Okay, okay. Settle down, crowd; just settle down.

I present to you...Sunset. A very lovely 4-inch, orange hair flower with a flower-like pearl center! For nearly all of the hair flowers I am selling, I now attach them to a curl clip rather than an alligator clip. The difference? The curl clip has one prong, and I found that they hold a lot better in one's hair.

This flower will go great with several of your summer outfits, I'm sure, as well as your fall outfits! It would also make a really nice birthday, friend, or just because gift!

Sunset:

Isn't it lovely?! :)

Flower Symbolism Fact #3

It's been a while since I've done a post on flower symbolism so here's for FSF#3!

I last did a FSF on the flowers Truth and Truth 2 so the next two flowers on the All Products tab are Loyalty and Passion. These gorgeous hair accessories are both Dahlias, which represent dignity and elegance.

"Dahl" is a homophone of the Swedish word "dal", or "valley"; although it is not a true translation, the plant is sometimes referred to as the "valley flower".
(Wikipedia)

Check out Loyalty and Passion in the All Products tab!

Also, wanted to mention that you can now share my blog on twitter and facebook with ease! Look at the right side of my blog under "Share it!"; you'll know what to do from there! (:

New flower!!!!!!

Now for the post on that custom hair flower I mentioned.. :)

A black shabby chic hair flower with jean! It really was an awesome idea!!!

Then a picture of it being modeled!

Don't hesitate to ask for your very own custom hair flower! You can have unique hair accessories found no where else!

Also, there's always the customer feedback tab for you to check out if you haven't purchased from me yet and have any doubts!

Modeled!

You know what? It's been a while since I've had a picture of a hair flower being modeled, and since I never had one for a shabby chic hair flower to show you how it'd look while being worn, figured I'd better post one!

A special thank you to my dear friend for allowing me to use her picture! :)

I recently got a really awesome custom order so I'll be posting that flower soon! (You have to see it!) It's for that reason I'm telling you to..check back soon! ;)

Flower adjustment

Hey!!

Well...I decided to do some flower adjusting for Joy 1, 2, and 3!

They used to look like this--

But I decided to change them to what's pictured below! =D

I'd like to know what you think!

The winner!!!!!!!!!

Hey!
Sorry for the wait on this post for the winner of the photo contest. Was waiting on getting a few details fixed and that took some extra days. Anyway...first off, I just wanted to thank each one of you for participating in the contest! It really made me happy to see all the willing participants. There were so many great, creative pictures it was super hard choosing to vote for only one! So congratulations to all of you who put forth the effort to enter an awesome picture! Okay...soo...ehem..the winner is...picture #5!!!!

Congratulations, Grace!!! =)

Below is a little interview she filled out! :)

1.) Tell us a little about yourself!
Hey I'm Grace and I'm from Pennsylvania, which is located on the eastern side of the United Sates, in AMERICA (thats NORTH NOT SOUTH)  which rest between the pacific and atlantic ocean.. which I hope you all know is part of our planet earth. I'm 15 years old  and am a student in the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. A few things I enjoy is hair-styling,traveling, running, talking with my friend Olivia  , hanging out with all my friends, soccer and volleyball and Still Waters Camp.. to name a few.  Most importantly I am a Message believer who loves God.

2.) Who or what influenced you to wear your first hair flower?

Hair flowers started showing up everywhere in stores and I really liked the looks of them. Soooo, I had to get one of mine own. (that's usually how it works lol)

3.) What was the first hair flower you ever wore (if you remember)?

No clue

4.) How long have you been wearing hair flowers?

For years... Not exactly sure when I started wearing them.

5.) What makes the hair flower you wore in your picture entry your favorite?

Since it's silver it goes with a lot of outfits and I love the glitter on it. xD

6.) How many hair flowers do you own?

At least 15...

7.) What is your favorite hair flower bloomsofglory currently supplies? Why?

"Kayla" is one of my favs. It's so trendy and I love the shabby look. The flower "Truth" I'd have to say is a tie though because I love the brightness and summery look. (:

8.) Have you participated in a blog contest before? If so, how many?

No, this was my first.

9.) Is there anything else you would like to say to the viewers of this blog and/or anything else you would like to share with us?

Thanks for the votes.

All the other contestant's flowers were awesome!!

New flower!!!

Hey!!!!

Yesss..I have an announcement to make! :) You can now get the shabby chic hair flower (extremely "in," by the way) in a beautiful teal!

This color is really popular right now, so no doubt it would go with several of your outfits!
The flower is the same size as the cream shabby chic one (2 1/2 inches), pictured in the "All Products" tab.

Alsoooooo.....You can order this same flower not only in cream, not only in this gorgeous teal...but also in hot pink or black!! I can even mix  more than one color into one flower! For instance, want a black and cream shabby chic hair flower? No problem! You might want different combinations such as cream and  teal, or hot pink and  black, or black and  teal, or some other combination!

Some of you may also like "tiny" shabby chic hair flowers.. --which would look really cute, I might add--(and I can make hair flowers look even more shabby chic than what is pictured), so feel free to place a custom order for that or anything else!

Let me know what you think! :)

P.S. The winner for the photo contest will be announced soon! Sorry..there's been a little bit of delay.

Grrr....

Okay, so it looks like the polls just keep erasing the votes--frustrating. So now to cast your vote, please email me which number picture you vote for. Voting ends on November 12th, so don't wait to send in your vote! (Email it to bloomsofglory@gmail.com) Thanks and sorry about all this! I have no idea why the polls are getting rid of the votes.
If you haven't yet seen the pictures in the contest, just scroll down to the post below!

What in the world..?!?!?!??!

Okay..I don't know how or why this is happening..but the poll keeps erasing votes. Yesterday it erased five..and now it erased ALL the votes. *Face palm* (I've never even heard of that happening before..)

So...I put another poll on the right side of my blog..Please cast your vote in THAT poll..NOT in the one on the previous post. If you have already voted, please do not  re-vote..I saw all the votes shortly before the poll erased them and have them logged, so I'll just add those votes to the results from the new poll after the voting for the contest has ended.
Remember, when casting your vote, vote on the poll to the right of my blog!  →

Here are the entries again!

To the Polls!!!!

Welcome to the second half of the hair flower photo contest! I know many (if not all) are eager to start the voting, so here's how it works!
Each of the entries are listed below. At the end of this post, there's a poll where you can select which picture you want to cast your vote for and then submit it! Please cast one and only one vote! (There's several good ones so it's going to be a bit tough choosing!) ;)

Please, everyone vote! Even if you entered a picture for the contest you can; however, if you did send in an entry, you are not allowed to cast a vote for your own picture! Also, some of you may know of or be friends with some of the picture participants. Please cast an unbiased vote! =)

One more thing. Being this is a hair flower modeling cost, you're not just casting your vote depending on the hair flower, but also the creativity of the picture, the way it was modeled, and the overall picture you believe is done the best. :)

The entries!
