It's been too long since I've had another one of these Flower Symbolism Facts so here one is! (And yes, I have been slacking in posting lately, I'm sure you noticed. Comments would really help encourage me to post!)
One of my newest accessory creations in the hair flower section was Amalie (a white daisy). Click here to view!

At one time or another, I know we've all picked a flower and started pulling it apart, petal by petal saying "He loves me..he loves me not..." ect. This tradition actually originated in Victorian times. A broken-hearted young damsel would pick a daisy and begin pinking off the petals, one by one, while singing "he loves me, he loves me not," the outcome of which was said to be the outcome of her future relationship, the custom of which is still in use today.
It is said that each flower has a message. Innocence, purity,  ('"You have as many virtues as this plant has petals," or, "I will consider your request."') is that of the daisy's. Also, the symbolism of the white daisy is common love.

I hope you enjoyed these facts about the daisy! Like I said in my first FSF, it would be interesting if people were attracted to certain hair flower accessories, for which the symbolism of those flowers matched that person's personality. Another new product!

Sorry that it's taken me this long to sit down and post what I had intended to alot earlier. I guess I was mainly waiting for when I could get pictures of it being modeled but that still hasn't happened so for now I will post pictures of just what it is. 

It is another flower crown, made up of small pink and white cherry blossoms, all attached to a standard sized headband. One size fits all. ;)

I am also looking for a suggestion for what this product name should be, so please leave your input in the comments below if you have any ideas!

New product item!

Not just a hair flower on a clip...not just a hair flower on a headband..not just two or three hair flowers pieced together...but..a flower crown!

Sorry I haven't posted the past two or so weeks. Here is a picture of the Lace hair flower (Queen Ann by name) being modeled!

Especially cute on young girls! (Like my four year old model above.) ;) 

Lately I've also been working on some new products..not just hair flowers...something..new.. :D I hope to have them up very soon so do keep checking back, and let me know what you think! Okay, okay. Settle down, crowd; just settle down.

I present to you...Sunset. A very lovely 4-inch, orange hair flower with a flower-like pearl center! For nearly all of the hair flowers I am selling, I now attach them to a curl clip rather than an alligator clip. The difference? The curl clip has one prong, and I found that they hold a lot better in one's hair. 

This flower will go great with several of your summer outfits, I'm sure, as well as your fall outfits! It would also make a really nice birthday, friend, or just because gift!

Flower Symbolism Fact #3

It's been a while since I've done a post on flower symbolism so here's for FSF#3!

I last did a FSF on the flowers Truth and Truth 2 so the next two flowers on the All Products tab are Loyalty and Passion. These gorgeous hair accessories are both Dahlias, which represent dignity and elegance.

"Dahl" is a homophone of the Swedish word "dal", or "valley"; although it is not a true translation, the plant is sometimes referred to as the "valley flower".
